Biological Sewage Treatment

Waste water treatment by biological products is used for: 80-90% decrease of the main indicators: BOD, COD, suspended solids, nitrogen and phosphorus compounds, for biological destruction (decontamination up to 90%) of  a wide range of pathogenic microbes, substantially reduction of  the cost of cleaning,  for creation of  a  friendly air environment. The test results on different kinds of biological products directly at the sewage treatment plants show stable and sustainable result of the application in wastewater treatment plants. Biological sewage treatment is used in dairy-, meat- and fish-processing plants, breweries, distilleries, poultry-breeding complexes and for the purification of urban waste.

Bioutilizer as a mixture of active cultures of micro-organisms is an alternative to existing biological sewage treatment by activated sludge, and it has the following advantages:

          - there is no need in aeration  and no energy costs;
          - it provides nitrification and denitrification, as well as  phosphate processing;
          - labor costs are reduced by 3-5 times;
          - the functional properties of facilities increase  5-10 times;
          - raw sludge amounts reduce 10 times and its processing time is also reduced;
          - complete elimination of specific odors in wastewater treatment facilities, at the sites of solid waste, raw sludge and  silt;
          - negligible microflora sensitivity  to temperature changes  or to waste water composition  ensuring the stability and reliability of the treatment process;
          -the possibility of introducing bioutilizer in any accessible point of the sewer, including the sewage pumping station (SPS), thereby increasing the water purification time and removing obstructions and blockages in the pipes.

The bioutilizer consumption for water treatment is determined as: (0.05-0.6) x daily sewage flow, m3 = its monthly consumption in liters. Loss (washing away) of microflora of the bioutilizer from the aeration tank is from 0.5 to 3% per day, after a year of regular use the consumption is reduced  by 15%, when using the bioutilizer in the SPS it is reduced  by 50-60%.
